Terms

The plain-English deal between you and isitcozitscool when we build something for you. Last updated 5 October 2026.

Who we are

isitcozitscool is a web design studio based in Bedfordshire, UK. Get in touch at hello@isitcozitscool.com or on WhatsApp.

Quotes and prices

• The quote builder on our website gives a ballpark. We confirm the exact price with you in writing before any work starts.
• Prices are in pounds (GBP). We're not VAT registered, so no VAT is added.
• Anything marked "on request" is priced once we know what you need.

Paying

• If everything in your project has a price, you can pay in full when you book.
• If part of your project is priced on request, you pay a £100 booking deposit to secure your start date. The deposit comes off your final bill.
• Any balance is invoiced, and is due by the date on the invoice.
• You can pay by card (through Stripe) or in crypto (Bitcoin or Ethereum). See payment options.

Changing your mind

• Within 14 days of paying, before any work starts: cancel and you'll get your money back in full, including the £100 deposit.
• After 14 days: the £100 booking deposit can't be refunded. Anything else you've paid, we'll sort out fairly with you.
• After work has started: we'll agree a fair refund with you, based on the work already done. If you asked us to start within your 14 days and then cancel, we may keep a fair amount for the work done up to that point.
• To cancel, just tell us on WhatsApp or by email.

Changes and approvals

• You approve the prototype before we build, and nothing goes live until you're happy with it.
• Unlimited changes until you approve the prototype. Once it's approved, any further changes are quoted before we do any extra work.

Timelines

We plan the project around your deadline. If we're waiting on content, images or approvals from you, dates may need to move. Fast-Tracked projects are prioritised to hit tight deadlines.

Your content

We can write your words, or you can send your own. Anything you send us (text, photos, logos) must be yours to use, or you must have permission to use it.

Who owns the website

• Once you've paid in full, your website, its design and its content are yours.
• We may feature your site on our website and in our work, as part of the free advertising we offer. If you'd rather we didn't, just tell us.

Hosting, domains and email

Hosting, domains and email (such as Microsoft 365) are provided by third-party companies under their own terms. We set them up and look after them for you, but we can't control their outages or price changes.

Aftercare

Annual Website Support and Domain email are invoiced when they're due. Nothing is charged automatically, and you can choose not to renew.

If something goes wrong

• Tell us on WhatsApp or by email and we'll put it right as quickly as we can.
• We're not responsible for indirect losses (such as lost profits), and our total responsibility is limited to the amount you've paid us. Nothing in these terms affects your legal rights as a consumer.

The law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
